An elite boarding school is embroiled in a racism controversy. - Students utter Nazi phrases
On a recent Thursday, a student disco saw minors singing hateful slogans like "Germany for the Germans. Foreigners out" to the melody of "L'amour Toujours" by Gigi D'Agostino. This was revealed by the "Hamburger Morgenpost." Disappointed teachers ended the event.
The exclusive boarding school situated behind ancient castle walls is a sought-after location for wealthy families. It houses 290 students. A year's education and lodging in this prestigious institution costs at least €52,700.
The manager of Louisenlund Foundation, Peter Rösners, penned a letter to parents, students, and teachers. He plans to address these incidents "with the necessitated pedagogical thoroughness, in the safeguarded space of our boarding school."
Schleswig-Holstein's Education Minister, Karin Prien (CDU), has voiced her opinion on the situation at this elite boarding school. "Kids must understand that singing such slogans is not merely a joke," she stated. However, she expressed concerns about possible copycat behavior. "Youths have a history of breaking societal norms. Therefore, it's our responsibility to engage with young people, educating them about the gravity of these slogans."
Approximately 500 youths gathered at the Schickeria club "Pony" on Sylt during Easter. Following this, a video surfaced with at least five partygoers shouting racist insults to the popular dance tune "L'amour toujours." One individual is seen giving a Nazi salute.
Additionally, there was a racist outburst at the Nobel Club "Rotes Kliff" on Sylt during Easter.
A video showcasing youths shouting Nazi slurs with abandon recently emerged from the 6th Beach Party at the Waldbühne in Cunersdorf, an Annaberg-Buchholz district.
The night before Sunday, police raided a Nazi party occurring in Kroev, a picturesque wine village in the Mosel region (Rheinland-Pfalz). At least 20 far-right radicals consumed forbidden music and repeatedly chanted "Heil Hitler" at a holiday home.
Similar occurrences have taken place in Bavaria and North Rhine-Westphalia in recent days. Reports have been filed in each case, and the state protection is currently investigating each incident.
