A 3-year commitment - Striker Schuler of Magdeburg club signs with Hertha.
A player with six goals and three assists in 28 two-league games has signed a three-year contract at Heirath Berlin, ending in 2027.
Benjamin Weber, the sporting director, is thrilled with the addition: "Luca has just the right build for a striker. He's known for his speed, a talent for scoring, and a fantastic mindset. He also has massive potential for growth."
Last season, Schuler scored in FCM's 6-4 win against the Berliners during the first game's first leg, while in the second leg, Hertha won 3-2, and Schuler even helped set up a goal for the visitors from the Elbe.
The 1.90-meter man, who recently visited Berlin with Diego Demme (expected to join on a free transfer) for medical assessments, is ecstatic: "I wanted to move forward in my career. When I learn that Hertha was interested, I couldn't help but smile. This club and city have so much to offer me."
Schuler made his professional debut in FC Schalke 04's apparel during the 2020/21 season, appearing twice for the Royal Blues in the Bundesliga. Now, the attacking athlete will be showcasing the Hertha flag on his chest.
