Before playing the last two games, he wants to experience the joy of keeping a clean sheet. "We'll do everything we can to achieve that," says Manitz.
Manitz, who hails from Gotha, has managed to keep the RWE goal six times. He adds, "It's my home club, and I've been here since 2014. This new contract is a significant step for me."
The coach, Fabian Gerber (44), is thrilled with Manitz's decision: "He's demonstrated his skills as an exceptional goalkeeper and the potential he possesses. This decision demonstrates our faith in the youth."
