Ailton's closest pal at Werder - Stalteri sets out on journey as head coach.
Similar to several other renowned individuals, he visited Weserstadion on a Saturday this time. Stalteri wound up his playing career in 2011 following stints at Tottenham, Fulham, and Gladbach. Currently, he functions as a youth coach at a former club of Frings, Toronto FC, in his native country, while craving for more.
Stalteri: "Correct now, I'm content and pleased with the circumstances. However, it's not a secret that I wish to manage a professional team someday."
Stalteri targets a professional head coach role!
Once his kid, Leandro (15), heads to college in the near future, he might be ready. A possible move to Europe, closer to his pal Ailton, might also occur. Years ago, they used to share a room and were inseparable. Although they engage in brutal verbal banter over the phone after two decades, they still laugh about it. Stalteri chuckles, "It's about what Ailton consumes and how much he exercises!"
