Outrageous behavior - Spanish minister's hate speech targets Israel.

A recently uploaded Twitter video features Spain's Socialist Labor Minister, Díaz, standing in front of her nation's flag and the European Union banner. In her address, she discusses the conflict in Gaza and advocates for the total eradication of Israel.

Díaz passionately recites the hateful phrase, "From the river to the sea, Palestine will be free." It expresses the desire for a Palestinian state to replace Israel. This has been a popular rallying cry among Hamas supporters during demonstrations.

This incendiary expression was classified as a criminal offense in Germany towards the end of last year after the Hamas ban was implemented. In contrast, Díaz is a Spanish government representative who is widely known for her charming demeanor. She has been regarded as the "most beautiful smile of communism" ("Zeit") and was once one of the most popular politicians in Spain.

Following the publication of Díaz's video, the "European Jewish Congress" expressed their outrage and described it as a "complete disgrace." Over the years, extremist groups have employed this slogan to stir up resentment against Jews.

The organization condemned the use of such antisemitic discourse, which holds no place in a democratic society. It was particularly appalling that this sentiment came from a vice president of a European government. Spain had announced plans to recognize the state of Palestine, a stance that Díaz conveys support for in her speech.

Moreover, Israeli officials strongly objected to the minister's statements and have prohibited Spanish diplomats from providing services to West Bank Palestinians. This comes after Foreign Minister Israel Katz's announcement on Friday. The Spanish embassy in Tel Aviv and the Spanish consulate general in East Jerusalem will be barred from assisting Palestinians living in the West Bank.

Israel is outraged by Díaz's accusation of genocide in Gaza, which contradicts the actual facts.
