Nazi-style salute, German empire banner, military ID plate - Shameful neo-Nazi reveal on Father's Day in Saxony.

A group of right-wing extremists drove through Dresden on Thursday, using a modified military vehicle and an imperial flag. They performed the Hitler salute and shouted racist slogans, until the police intervened.

At a Beer Garden, Sporting the Imperial Fashion

A video circulating on the social media site X (formerly Twitter) shows nine individuals inside a repainted military van. Earlier, they had stopped at a beer garden. One of them was wearing a steel helmet, while another held a large Reich flag.

The insignia of the 25th Infantry Division of the Wehrmacht is displayed on the side and fender of the Borgward B 2000. The official registration plate from Dippoldiswalde (Saxony) features the letters "WH" and the number "88".

▶︎ "WH" previously represented "Wehrmacht Heer" from 1935 to 1945, while the number 88 equates to "Heil Hitler" among neo-Nazis because the "H" is in the eighth position of the alphabet.

▶︎ A second license plate was also painted on the bumper (WH - 140687), which corresponds to the license plates of the Nazi Wehrmacht but also isn't accurate because the army never drove a Borgward B 2000 - it was just manufactured for the Bundeswehr from the mid-1950s.

"I was completely shocked"

A man in a steel helmet leans his right hand on the visor. The Hitler salute is said to have been shown beforehand

As the Kübelwagen travelled along Kötzschenbroder Straße by the Elbe, the neo-Nazis nodded to the bystanders with a grin. According to the authorities, they had performed the Hitler salute and shouted right-wing slogans earlier.

These individuals were eventually apprehended by the police two streets away. "Several charges have been filed against them for using anti-constitutional license plates," noted a spokesperson.

This auto is registered as an antique vehicle, with the black, white, and red flag being legal in Germany without the imperial eagle on it. However, the driver was not intoxicated. Whether the men already had any history with the police or are associated with the extreme right-wing scene is not yet known.

Another Group in Wehrmacht and SS Uniforms Identified

In Bernsdorf, approximately an hour's drive from Dresden, it's reported that around 20 to 30 people, including women and children, attended wearing Wehrmacht and SS uniforms. They also arrived in military vehicles. SS emblems and swastikas were evident on some of their garments, some of which were covered with tape.

A police spokesman told us: "Once the officers arrived, the individuals described were no longer present."

Pictures of uniformed men and women circulated online from Hoyerswerda. The police are investigating

A rescue call was also made in the afternoon because Hitler salutes and racist slogans caused a commotion at the so-called Milk Pavilion on the banks of the Elbe in Dresden. The disturbance had ended by the time the police arrived.

Just about a year ago, the video of a neo-Nazi gathering in Döbeln (Saxony) left the entire nation aghast. It depicted several men sitting at a pavilion with a swastika flag while celebrating Father's Day.
