"Season 50 of 'Survivor' to include past participants"
Jeff Probst, the host, recently posted a video during a "For Your Consideration" event in Los Angeles. In the video, he shared some exciting news about the upcoming 50th season of the reality competition show, Survivor.
"Just a few moments ago, at the 'FYC' event in Hollywood, we made a big decision," Probst said in the Instagram video. "Survivor 50 will feature only returning players!"
The show challenges contestants to survive in harsh conditions and outwit their fellow players. The grand prize of one million dollars is given to the last standing contestant.
Survivor, which debuted on May 31, 2000, played a part in launching the success of other competition shows like American Idol and America's Got Talent. It is currently airing its 46th season on CBS.
