Analysis of Iran strategy - Scholz's condolence letter is ill-timed and inappropriate.

On a Tuesday, the global organization known as the UN proved the depths of its moral decline when it honored a notorious supporter of terrorism. The Security Council held a moment of silence, and flags were lowered to half-mast - all in tribute to a significant backer of Islamic extremism.

Olaf Scholz remained silent on a string of brutal acts perpetrated by this tyrant, including the execution of five people in the wake of a helicopter crash involving Ebrahim Raisi, the ongoing torture and imprisonment of 20+ EU citizens, and inhumane attacks on countries like Iraq, Yemen, Lebanon, and Gaza. Additionally, Germany's leader didn't address Raisi's support of Putin's regime, the provision of killer drones, and his efforts to develop nuclear weapons and target Israel.

The failed Iran diplomacy conducted by Germany did little to endear us to this terrorist-supporting nation. Past efforts at currying favor have only caused further embarrassment, exemplified by Steinmeier's absurd birthday well-wishes to the bloodthirsty regime in 2019.

Perhaps Scholz just needs to rethink his tactic instead of yet again sabotaging the resistance fighters, many of whom are risking their lives to dance in the face of possible disaster. If Scholz lacks the courage to stand up against this oppressive regime, the Romans' saying, "If you can't say anything good about a dead man, stay mum," may serve as a fitting reminder.
