Leipzig arrangement approaches completion - Schäfer's speedy progression in achieving goals.

In the near future, Wolfsburg is set to unveil a replacement for Schafer.

Lately, RB Supervisory Board member Oliver Mintzlaff (48) needed time to negotiate the amount with the required committees. It is anticipated to be around 1.5 to 2 million euros. There is no reimbursement planned for Schafer's contributions to RB Leipzig.

"My decision to remain at RB Leipzig was never in question," Schröder confidently states. In recent weeks, it was suspected that the sports director might search for a different occupation if a new manager takes over. Both the supervisory board and management desired Schröder to stay. All are content with his performance.

Schröder elaborates: "My focus has always been on being involved, taking responsibility, and acting - as before - in close collaboration with our management, Oliver Mintzlaff, and Mario Gomez. These talks were held with our management, Oliver Mintzlaff, and Mario Gomez, and I feel a great sense of esteem. And I have the confidence that we will organize a fantastic team to achieve our ambitious aspirations."

Though there will be a sharpened hierarchy at RB - Schafer has the ultimate authority. However, all decisions should be discussed. "The incoming individual will be as much of a team player as my colleagues and I, who are already in Leipzig. There's still much to do at RB, and the topics in a large club are so extensive that we will all have plenty of work in this new arrangement," Schröder says with a smile.

To begin with, Schafer will require some time to acquaint himself with the fresh club and the unique structure, backed by Red Bull. Schröder and Gomez are particularly helpful in this domain. "The sports manager will discover a well-oiled and experienced squad at the onset and then it's: together with and through him, we will develop even better - and attack!"
