Hamsi S. arranged for someone to be fired upon. - Rocker faces life in jail for murder conviction.

In May 2023, a court ruled that the defendant ordered his fellow rocker acquaintance to be killed. The motive for this crime never became clear throughout the entire trial. The judge expressed dissatisfaction with the explanation. However, the defendant maintained his innocence until the end.

A Deadly Backstabbing

Between May 12 and 24, the suspect instructed his friend Marco C. (28) to execute Emre Y. The duo lured their intended victim to a gym in the Mülheim district of Cologne. There, they carried out what was dubbed a "public execution" in the verdict.

Rocker Eren Y. (sunglasses) was shot from behind

When Emre Y. met up with his companions, he was shot from behind. One bullet struck his back, and the other his temple. Emre Y.'s girlfriend (30) was also wounded in the attack, barely surviving it. She testified in the trial, describing how blood gushed out of her mouth and throat, causing her to lose sight due to the excessive bleeding. She underwent numerous surgeries and still felt intense pain.

It remains undetermined as to whether Marco C. or Emre U. (32) pulled the trigger. It's believed that both individuals had fled to Turkey, and they remain elusive, with their whereabouts unknown.

One probable motive could have been Eren Y.'s desire to create a new rocker group following the dissolution of the "Rhine Area" charter, in which all the people involved were members. Before the crime, Eren Y. had expressed concern about potential attacks against him.
