Remembering the events: Fabio's father had gone cycling with friends along the Isar on May 17, 2020. On his way back home, he was riding alone through Au, heading toward Ottobrunn. An unidentified person on a mountain bike struck him around 6 p.m. in Hochstraße.
Various passersby had spotted Fabio riding an electric bike with an aggressive driving style. Witnesses reported that the man was honking loudly to make his way through the traffic.
Fabio and the masked mountain biker were traveling in opposite directions. Fabio confronted the stranger about his aggressive behavior, prompting the unknown man to follow him.
In the Hochstraße area, near house number 11, the other cyclist had managed to catch up with Fabio. He overtook him on the right side, rode next to him, and exchanged a few words before both fallen. Fabio eventually succumbed to his internal injuries in the hospital. The other cyclist escaped.
