Milow has departed. - Return of the missing zoo eagle

Zoo personnel retrieved the creature from Viersdorf close to Stralsund on a Wednesday afternoon. The bird had previously been seen at a nearby stud farm.

"Milow is safely back," reported Kay Deichfischer from the Stralsund Zoo. The response to the news of the missing animal prompted countless people to share information. The staff expressed gratitude for all those who assisted.

"Milow" started training at the zoo last year. Standing out for its primarily brown plumage and larger size compared to a buzzard, this show bird is distinguished by a leather strap on its feet. dpa
