Resorts World Unveils 'Cheesecake' Offering: New Eatery at Fontainebleau Announced
The well-known restaurant that gave Brooklyn cheesecake its fame, Junior's, is set to make its entrance on the West Coast this fall at Resorts World. With a seating capacity of 300, this venue will offer breakfast, lunch, dinner, and late-night meals, as well as its famed dessert.
Alan Rosen, representing the third generation of his family to run Junior's, mentioned his grandfather loved Vegas and would be thrilled with this new location in the city he adored almost as much as New York. Harry Rosen opened the original Junior's in Brooklyn on Election Day in 1950.
2 Chainz, a Grammy-winning rapper, will introduce two of the most popular dishes from his Southern restaurant, Esco Restaurant and Tapas, to the Strip starting September 30. These items will be available at Libertine Social at Mandalay Bay and Public House at Luxor for a month.
In addition to the previous dining updates, the Fontainebleau Las Vegas will open on December 13 with El Bagel, a brand known for its origins in Miami, like most of the new casino resort's offerings.
Portillo's, a popular Windy City eatery, announced they're scouting for a Vegas location as part of their plan to expand and open more stores nationally. The hot dog and burger chain began in Chicago in 1965 and is currently at 77 locations in ten states, aiming to reach 84 by the end of the year.
Jayde@16, located on the 16th floor of the M Resort, will change its menu on October 5 to feature Asian dishes and craft cocktails.
Circus Circus has received a Del Taco, while Excalibur follows suit with one of their own.
