Red Rock Resort plans major renovations at Green Valley Ranch
Red Rock Resorts has made significant improvements to its Green Valley Ranch Resort Spa & Casino in Henderson, Nevada, starting with the opening of the new North Star Bar.
The operator said a new restaurant row will be introduced at the venue and the currently closed buffet area will soon be occupied by a new gaming facility. Across the country, many gaming companies are ditching their buffets in the wake of the coronavirus pandemic and finding new, more profitable uses for the spaces. That may be the case at Green Valley Ranch.
Henderson’s premier resort will be adding two exciting new dining offerings from acclaimed chefs Eric and Bruce Bromberg of Bromberg Bros. Blue Ribbon Restaurants,” reads a post on Station Casinos’ STN Blog road.
Red Rock is the parent company of Station Casinos. Red Rock operates Green Valley Ranch and multiple venues in Henderson, one of Las Vegas' largest suburbs.
Green Valley Ranch Renewal Plan
Red Rock is already one of the major operators of local gaming venues in the Las Vegas Valley. Red Rock's efforts to beautify Green Valley Ranch are part of a broader plan to solidify the company's presence in the Las Vegas local market.
These include the Wildfire Casino, which recently debuted in downtown Las Vegas, and the Durango Casino, which will open in the city's southwest later this year. Some analysts expect Red Rock to double the number of venues in Las Vegas by early next decade, which could lead to a 70% increase in earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation, and amortization (EBITDA).
As for dining options at Green Valley Ranch, the venue features a new Mediterranean concept and features a sushi bar.
"Early next year, Green Valley Ranch will expand the resort's dining portfolio and bring Blue Ribbon Sushi Bar & Grill to Henderson, a 136-seat restaurant serving impeccable sushi," the statement said.
Red Rocks in Summerlin has a blue ribbon sushi restaurant. Green Valley Ranch’s backyard pool deck will also be upgraded as part of the venue’s wider renovations.
Green Valley Ranch makes games for more VIPs
As for the newly created gaming offerings at Green Valley Ranch Casino, those plans include a redesigned VIP slots room and an improved high-limit table gaming room.
“Green Valley Ranch is about to open a stunning and sophisticated high-limit table games room offering 10 games including single-zero roulette, double-deck blackjack, six-deck S17 shoe and mid-size baccarat , offering high-stakes, high-touch service and special casino cages “ according to the blog post."The Lounge Bar will offer ten bar games in addition to an upscale menu of classic cocktails. The space will feature three additional play areas offering a selection of games to create an intimate atmosphere."
The new high-limit slots will feature 125 machines and 14 bar units.
