Red Rock releases new Inspirada renderings

Red Rock Resorts (NASDAQ: RRR ) has unveiled new renderings of the luxury casino hotel it plans to build in the Inspirada community of Henderson, Nevada. Inspirada will fill the same local luxury market as the company's Green Valley Ranch in Henderson and its Red Rock Resort in the affluent Las Vegas suburb of Summerlin.

According to documents filed with the City of Henderson, the proposed project would include approximately 58,000 square feet of gaming space and a 201-room hotel, up from the 600 rooms estimated in December 2022. Inspirada's plans also include three restaurants, a food court, a cinema and a 12-lane bowling alley.

The Henderson Planning Commission will review the Inspirada Development Agreement at its next meeting on November 16. If approved, construction would begin on or before October 9, 2029.

The resort was originally built on 45 acres owned by Station Casinos since 2007. In May, the Henderson City Council approved a land-use change that expanded the size of the project and Henderson itself, annexing nearly 300 acres from neighboring El Dorado Valley.

The community of Insparada is located at the southernmost tip of the Las Vegas Valley.

Double

Red Rock's latest casino plans are part of the company's mission to double the size of its operations in Southern Nevada by 2030.

The local chain plans to open its Durango Casino Resort in southwest Las Vegas on December 5, two weeks later than originally planned. Durango will have 73,000 square feet of gaming space, a sportsbook, 2,000 slot machines and 40 gaming tables.

Red Rock recently opened the Wildfire Fremont Casino in downtown Las Vegas on the site of the former Showboat/Castaways Hotel and Casino, which it purchased in 2004 and then demolished.

Last year, Red Rock purchased 67 acres for $55 million after receiving approval to build a new 75,000-square-foot casino and 600-room hotel in North Las Vegas.

Also last year, the company purchased 126 acres of land just south of the Las Vegas Strip for $172 million, increasing its unused land holdings in the area to nearly 430 acres.

In addition to Red Rock Resort and Green Valley Ranch, Red Rock Resorts currently operates multiple gaming properties in the Las Vegas area under the Station brand Casino . The company also operates ten Wildfire casinos, seven of which are located in Henderson.
