Metrological conditions. - Railway landslide causing service interruptions till Monday.

A landslide on a railway line in the southern Black Forest has caused ongoing disruptions to train traffic. Commuters can expect delays and cancellations on the route connecting Titisee and Seebrugg train stations in Schluchsee (both located in Breisgau-Hochschwarzwald district) until at least Monday, as per a railroad notice sent out via the X messaging service (previously known as Twitter) on Saturday. To make up for the losses, a replacement bus service has been organized.

Earlier on Friday evening, railway operations were temporarily suspended for about two hours due to a landslide, only to reopen by then. This disruption led to the cancellation of trains on the S1 line.

Furthermore, the railway authorities conducted a fresh geological survey early on Saturday morning which prompted a new closure of the line.
