Man killed during hunting trip - Psychiatric facility receives homicidal offspring
The arrest warrant for the youth from Ludwigsburg has been canceled, and now police want him to be admitted to a mental health facility. This news came from the Nuremberg-Fürth prosecutor's office.
The father's body (54 years old) was discovered by passers-by earlier. His son initially confessed to the crime over the phone with his mother and then turned himself in to the authorities.
The teenager told police he had thrown the rifle into a pond. Divers were able to locate the weapon.
The police continue their investigation, even after placing the young man into care. The Nuremberg prosecutor's office refused to reveal what specific condition or illness the son suffers from, respecting his privacy rights.
