Prosecutors seek life sentence following deadly stabbing incident in Brokstedt.
The prosecutor strongly insisted that A.'s severe criminality be acknowledged. Apart from taking two lives, A. had also attempted murder and committed assault four times before. He was obsessed with being a successful killer. Several of his victims were cornered on a train.
A.'s trial commenced in July and a verdict is set for May 15. In a major attack on Jan 25, 2023, a teenager and a 17-year-old young man lost their lives. Some others sustained injuries, some of which were life-threatening. A. was ultimately arrested after the train halted at Brokstedt station.
