Aurelien Tchouameni, aged 24, will be absent from the upcoming Champions League final against Borussia Dortmund on the 1st of June. Real coach, Carlo Ancelotti, disclosed this information during a press conference before their last league match against Betis Sevilla.
The midfielder from France sustained a foot injury during the semi-final game against Bayern Munich.
"Tchouameni is working towards being fit again in time for the European Championship," remarked Ancelotti.
Doubly damaging absence for Real Madrid
Following Tchouameni's setback, David Alaba, the former Bayern star, who has a ruptured cruciate ligament, will also be missing from Real Madrid's final against Dortmund.
