Crown-Wearing Monarchs - Prince George joins his dad at the cup final, yet seems uninterested.
There was a thrilling English FA Cup finale between city rivals Manchester City and Manchester United at London's Wembley Stadium on a Saturday afternoon. Sir Prince William was there too, as the President of the Football Association, shaking hands with the athletes prior to the crucial game. He seemed to prefer Aston Villa, as per his avowal.
Prince George Appears with William at the FA Cup Final
William was not alone at the stadium; he brought along his son, Prince George. The pair sat in the front row of the audience, and prince George, like on previous occasions, wore a suit and a tie, similar to his father.
Pictures show that little Prince George does not seem too thrilled about the field and is a bit suspicious of it. The 10-year-old needed to yawn several times. Could he be clandestinely betting on the losing team? Manchester City managed to get one goal in the 87th minute, but Manchester United won 2-1 with 99 minutes of play. Notwithstanding, young royalty clapped along enthusiastically with the fans for all the goals.
Maybe Prince George is just miserable that his favorite team is not in the final. After all, George is a supporter of Aston Villa too and has been present at many of the club's matches with his dad. Ultimately, though, William was able to cheer up his firstborn son a bit. According to the Daily Mail, the two engaged in a heartwarming interaction, whispering and laughing together.
