Prices at this Las Vegas restaurant start at 1979
Las Vegas is home to some of the most expensive dining experiences in the world. But at Ocean One Bar & Grille on the Las Vegas Strip, there are 27 lunch specials for just $5.99 each. The restaurant is located in the Miracle Mile Shops shopping center next to Planet Hollywood.
For the price of a pack of gum, you can enjoy Ocean One's half-pound sirloin burger, Mexican wings or taco salad at Harry Reid International Airport. Chef's specialties include Mahi Santa Fe tacos, marinated skirt steak with cabernet sauce and grilled filet mignon.

A selection of specialty cocktails, including Cosmopolitans, Blue Hawaiians and Tequila Sunrises, are available to pair with your cheap AF fare at $12 for three drinks.
Ocean One has been incredibly cheap for years. But that doesn't mean there will never be an adjustment for inflation. Last year, the company implemented its first major price increase in recent memory.
The increase brings the price of 27 lunch menu items from $4.99 to $5.99, and the 3-for-1 special from $10.99 to $12. The price increases at most other open-air restaurants are higher than the actual price of Ocean One's dishes.
How could they do this?
Not to sound like an ad, but Ocean One "serves millions of people every year" and is one of the "busiest restaurants in Vegas," according to its website, which tracks meals served daily quantity. As of 12:48 pm local time on Thursday, there were 1,415 people.
Dinner entrees are more expensive, ranging from a half-pound sirloin burger for $6.99 to a classic surf and steak for $28.99. But still.

Cost-conscious tourists aren't the only fans of the restaurant's food. The Southern Nevada Health District closed Ocean One on August 23, 2019 due to a cockroach infestation, Eater Vegas reported.
The restaurant reopened three days later with a 9-point "A" rating and has been clean and tidy ever since.
