Intentional fire-setting - Police probe fire incident at homeless shelter
A person living in a homeless shelter in Bamberg is thought to have caused a fire that left them injured. On Saturday, police reported that the individual sustained severe smoke inhalation. Another shelter resident had similar injuries on Friday. They tried to put out the fire with a fire extinguisher until the fire department arrived. The police's criminal investigation unit is currently probing the suspected arsonist.
