Elude the tempest. - On weekends, the sun is shining.

The heaviest rainfalls are presently occurring in the south and east regions of the nation. These areas include Bavaria, Baden-Württemberg, sections of Thuringia, and Saxony, which will experience continuous downpours.

In Poland and the Czech Republic, both strong rain showers and thunderstorms persist. However, the sun occasionally makes an appearance in these countries. Similarly, Switzerland and Austria will witness continuous rain accompanied by fleeting periods of sunshine on Friday and Saturday. The sun could show its face again on Sunday, but exact predictions are not possible.

Despite the showers, there are also sunny moments: The North and Baltic Seas may enjoy sunny intervals this weekend.

Weekend sunshine is still expected!

Despite the turbulent weather in certain parts of the country, some regions will experience calmer conditions. The period from Friday to the Lusatia area will be brighter and drier.

On Saturday, several parts of the country will witness a mix of sun, clouds, and occasional showers. Coastal areas towards the Altmark and Uckermark, however, should expect longer periods of sunshine while remaining relatively dry.
