This query led to his defeat. - No cost awarded to unsuccessful "Who Wants to Be a Millionaire?" contestant.

Stefan Severin (25) from Berlin quickly responds to the initial questions with confidence. But when it comes to 500 euros, the student struggles.

"Who is going to be a millionaire?" host Günther Jauch (67) inquires: "How would you describe the person they call 'sunshine' - happy and content? A: arrogant, B: flirtatious, C: affected, D: self-satisfied?" Sevrin ponders for a moment and states, "I'd say B, that it's flirtatious."

Jauch remains poker-faced: "We all tend to think that. But whether it's correct or not, that's the question." The candidate continues to think, but stands firm: "So 'arrogant' wouldn't fit, 'self-satisfied' is also negatively connoted... Flirtatious is more about something being attractive or good at a higher level. I'm just a bit uncertain."

Jauch assures him this is understandable and considers when the last person with no money left the show. He warns: "I believe that was a long time ago. Don't end up like them!"

Now Mr. Severin decides to use the 50/50 lifeline - "arrogant" and "affected" are now remaining options, but the candidate still doesn't understand! He selects "affected". Jauch can't help him any further and sighs, "Arrogant sunshine' - that's what they say... I thought if he asked everyone here, he would have 94%, 96%, or 98% chance of being right."

Ungläubig und ein wenig amüsiert: Günther Jauch kann es nicht fassen

A glimmer of hope for the "Who Wants to Be a Millionaire?" zero

He has a little sympathy for the loser: "It's pretty crappy now." However, Jauch offers the candidate some hope: a special for zero-money players!

Jauch: "When we have five or six zero players together, we do something called the zero special." This amuses the audience, and the candidate laughs once again. The editorial team then gets involved with the statistics. Jauch reads, "The last zero was in 2021. You're the second one. It can take a while."

He dismisses the unfortunate candidate with well wishes: "I'm not worried about you."
