Close to 600 enthusiasts of car tuning assembled with their modified vehicles in Hamm on Saturday night, resulting in major traffic disruptions and noise disturbances for nearby residents. Around 300 vehicles, most of them heavily modified and equipped with powerful engines, convened in a massive parking lot. The authorities revealed that some of the drivers had put bystanders in danger with their showy driving maneuvers. In response, the group was prohibited from the area, and the culprits supposedly withdrew. The cops reckon that the folks were primarily from the regions of Hochsauerland, Gütersloh, and Soest. During their presence, the law enforcement officials submitted one criminal case, filed two reports for administrative violations, and issued penalty notices in four instances.
