Turkish-German star Uzun is set to inject new life into Frankfurt's offensive game in the upcoming season following their successful qualification for the Europa League with a 1:1 tie against Borussia Mönchengladbach on Saturday. Bidding adieu to Nuremberg fans after their triumph against Elversberg, Uzun's 16 goals have been crucial in helping the team avoid relegation this season.
Moreover, Eintracht has also snapped up Nathaniel Brown (20), Uzun's teammate, from Nuremberg. The U21 international, who had initially been brought in during the winter months only to be loaned back to Nuremberg for an extra six months, has now agreed to a contract extending his stay at Frankfurt till 2029.
