Further information revealed - Nagelsmann reveals the team for the European Championship.
Get excited, as the Germany national team squad announcement is almost here!
In approximately two weeks, Germany's football team will be revealing who will be participating in the Euros. This comes right before the final Bundesliga matchday of the current season, which will take place two days later.
There's no specific area for unveiling the DFB team before major tournaments, so in the past, the event has always occurred in different locations. There will also be an online broadcast of the press conference on the DFB channels.
However, it's still uncertain how many players Nagelsmann will be permitted to name. Upper estimations predict Uefa will allow a 26-player squad, but the national coach might only select 23 players.
Nagelsmann recently mentioned, "I think you can leave that up in the air. You can go with the maximum number of 26 and each team can decide if they want to bring fewer."
Ten days after the nomination, the first Germany training camp kicks off in Thuringia. Regrettably, all the players participating in the Champions League final on June 1 won't be able to join due to the earlier event.
The DFB squad will then relocate from Thuringia to the Euro quarter-finals in Herzogenaurach on May 31. Preparations will carry on there until the final test against Greece in Mönchengladbach on June 7 at 8:45pm.
Prepare for absolute clarity by the deadline for the final nomination of 23 or 26 players to Uefa on the night of...who will be on the Euro journey?
