Get ready for the main objective! - Nagelsmann borrows an LED display from his previous team.
Following the massive public training session on Monday in Jena, attended by 15,000 fans, the German national team had their first practice at the "Spa & Golf Resort Weimarer Land" in Blankenhain on Tuesday.
The DFB set up an enormous video wall there (around 4x5 meters), which was requested by head coach Julian Nagelsmann from Leipzig. The video wall wasn't required at the resort during the summer break, so it was rented for this purpose.
Nagelsmann had received the massive outdoor analysis tool while coaching RB Leipzig. He frequently used it during his daily training routines. Now, he can utilize it for the DFB.
The screen displays old game footage as well as training images. This enables Nagelsmann to correct mistakes during the session and provide guidance to players from their positions, eliminating the need for everyone to gather in front of him.
The English will also utilize the video wall
It's worth noting that when the DFB departs on Friday, the video wall will remain. The English, who will establish their base camp in Blankenhain during the EM, will also employ it.
For the DFB, the journey continues to Herzogenaurach, where Adidas' "Homeground" is located. More DFB players will join the team, including goalkeeper Manuel Neuer (38), who's currently sidelined due to an infection. Additionally, Florian Wirtz (21), Jonathan Tah (28), and Robert Andrich (29) from Bayer Leverkusen, Ilkay Gündogan (33), and Marc-André ter Stegen (32), who played the last LaLiga match for Barcelona against Sevilla on Sunday night, will not attend the Thuringia training camp.
Also, Real Madrid's Toni Kroos (34) and Toni Rüdiger (31) and the BVB's Niclas Füllkrug (31) and Nico Schlotterbeck (24), who face each other at Wembley Stadium on Saturday, won't participate in the camp.
