Ekat emotionally dances with her ex on "Let's Dance" - "My affection for Paul remains intact!"
Ekaterina Leonova (37) and her ex-partner Paul Lorenz (37) stirred up opinions while dancing together. They haven't been together for a decade, and Paul is now involved with someone new.
Reminiscing about their past romance, Ekaterina and Paul performed a reimagined version of "Mr. and Mrs. Smith." Ekaterina remarked, "We're people who can't be with each other but can't be away from each other. That's our story."
Ekaterina first met Paul when she moved to Germany, where he picked her up from the airport. She was immediately struck by him: "I was entirely captivated at that moment." They were both in a personal and professional romance as dance partners for five years before ending their relationship.
Paul, in turn, admitted to a lack of communication during their time together: "I wasn't there for her." Ekaterina tearfully finds solace in Paul's embrace, expressing how she still sees him as a kind-hearted individual: "I still adore Paul, but in a different way. Part of my heart remains with him."
Following their tango performance, Ekaterina spoke directly to the camera with heartfelt words, "Please, people, communicate with each other, even if it's challenging. You can save many relationships that way!"
Judge Jorge Gonzalez (56) smiled at her statement, noting, "I also saved my relationship with Llambi, and it wasn't easy!" He praised the emotional tango, exclaiming, "Wow! That was drama. Sexy!" Judges Joachim Llambi (59) and Motsi Mabuse (43) were equally enthralled.
Another captivating performance involved pregnant Patricija Ionel (29) and her husband Alexandru (29), who revealed the gender of their unborn children through their dance to "Lullaby" by Brahms.
There was an astonishing reveal during their choreography: They're having twins but didn't know the genders of the babies. Patricija, wiping away tears, said, "This was my dream, one I never dared to dream."
The audience ultimately determined who would be crowned the winners of the professional challenge. Massimo Sinato (43) and Valentin Lusin (37), performing as a male pair, claimed victory.
