Following the two-day championship celebration. - Moreira takes a firm stance against Denmark.
Praise for his endurance!
The week started with Moreira joining FC St. Pauli's U23s for a game against Hannover 96 II, where he helped secure the second division championship with the professionals the following day. Then, on Wednesday, he played for the German U18 team against Denmark in an international match.
It's no surprise that DFB coach Hanno Balitsch chose to start the U17 World and European Champion in the U18 test. In Verden/Aller, in front of 2148 spectators, Moreira played at full speed for 60 minutes. However, they fell behind initially when Sebastian Biller scored in the 48th minute. It wasn't until the last 15 minutes that Farid Alfa-Ruprecht, who substituted Moreira, scored to equalize (77).
Following his A-level exams and professional debut with St. Pauli, he'll be taking a break. Moreira will return to training in early July.
