Good Reasons to Hire Veterans
Regardless of industry, companies have various reasons to hire employees who have worked in their country. A 24-page report published in 2016 by the Institute for Veterans and Military Families (IVMF) at Syracuse University highlighted several factors.
This includes the veterinarian's ability to transfer skills between different roles and tasks, as well as their technical knowledge. Veterans also work in teams and often thrive in busy work environments.
A very real advantage to the gaming industry is that veterans are viewed as trustworthy employees. This is an important feature of some industries where employees handle large amounts of cash and customer personal information.
