The eventually revealed that all the single men were participating under a false pretext. As a result, Bornmann not only lost the prize but also damaged his relationship with Yeliz and his partner Luisa, earning him the infamous title of "TV heartbreaker."
Since then, Bornmann has continued his streak in reality TV by joining "Are You The One? - Realitystars in Love" as a last-minute entrant in 2023. He found a connect with candidates Sandra Sicora and Christina Rusch during this show, engaging in several affectionate moments. Yet, he failed to find the everlasting "true love."
In 2024, Max Bornmann reunited with his former partner Luisa. Currently, they participate as a couple on the show "Prominent getrennt." A spat between Max and candidate Kim Virginia transpired, during which Virginia nearly slapped him. In a following episode, Max engaged in a violent confrontation with Mike Cees.
Max Bornmann is slated to return to the screen with Diogo Sangre in an upcoming team "Team Reality" for the show. Will this team triumph in the drinking games and make it to the final?
