Artist Matthias Reim doesn't view artificial intelligence (AI) as a replacement for artistic creation. "I imagine AI will make a stronger impact in the music industry down the line," the 66-year-old artist stated to the German Press Agency in Dresden. Yet, he's not afraid that it will eventually take over the musician's role. "AI can't truly narrate a tale. It has no emotions. There's no such thing as artificial feelings." Despite this, it could prove beneficial as a tool. However, there's also a risk of misuse in the music business. "We won't be able to fend off piracy."
