Bavarian town introduces noteworthy monument - Massive liver cheese attracts visitors as a pilgrimage site.

The roundabout in Niederkaltenkirchen is well-known, thanks to police officer Franz Eberhofer (Sebastian Bezzel), who frequents the same butcher's shop for meatloaf rolls in Rita Falk's film. That's why the town square has featured life-sized cardboard cutouts of this character since 2018 and is officially called the Franz Eberhofer roundabout.

This year, the market square of Frontenhausen has become a hotspot for visitors with a giant bun (300 kg, 3m wide), seen in the recent film "Rehragout-Rendezvous."

The producers at Constantin-Film-Verleih generously donated this prop to the town after they had finished shooting. Frontenhausen's mayor, Dr. Franz Gassner, was delighted, describing the meat colossus as a "work of art" in an interview with Bayerischer Rundfunk.

Fans of the series come from all over Germany to capture selfies at these film locations.
