Individual identified as Asperg. - Man (30 years old) causes train to suddenly stop.

Around 5:30 pm, the operator of a train travelling from Stuttgart to Ludwigsburg spotted someone strolling by the tracks, seemingly snapping pictures and recording. The driver promptly triggered the emergency brakes. The 30-year-old Iranian man, apparently the suspect, made a quick exit from the area before disappearing in an undetermined direction. Authorities were immediately informed, and they managed to locate and inspect the mysterious man soon after.

Upon closer investigation, it was discovered that the man had an outstanding warrant for breach of the Residence Act. Due to his inability to pay the demanded fine and compensation totaling approximately 678 euros, he was arrested and sent to jail. The Federal Police are also investigating him for suspicion of endangering railway operations.

Thankfully, no injuries were reported in this incident, but it did cause disruptions in the rail system. The authorities struck a reminder of the dangers of staying on tracks, noting that trains could come staggeringly close without making any audible warning. Platforms and tunnels are the only safe places to cross train tracks.
