Competitor from the league - Magdeburg obtains a versatile midfielder.
Last season, the midfielder featured in 27 games for SCP, scoring one goal and setting up four assists. So far, he has played a total of 246 games (52 goals, 34 assists) in the 2. Bundesliga. Additionally, Leipertz has played six matches in the Bundesliga for Ingolstadt.
FCM's sports director Otmar Schork commented: "Robert is a seasoned player with dynamism and goal-scoring ability we need."
Head coach Christian Titz expresses enthusiasm for Leipertz: "Robert is an experienced player who can be used at both the wing and as an offensive player."
Leipertz is FCM's fourth new addition for the upcoming season, following Pierre Nadjombe (21/1. FC Köln II), Lubambo Musonda (29/Silkeborg), and Falko Michel (23/Dortmund II).
