Lucky Win: Purchaser of Rolls Royce Carries Home $203K From Caesars Palace Trip
A gentleman hailing from Sioux Falls, SD journeyed to Las Vegas to collect his brand new Rolls Royce over the weekend. While in Vegas, he chose to spend some time at his preferred table at Caesars Palace Las Vegas as well. This proved to be a smart choice.
On Friday, while partaking in Mississippi Stud Poker, Ashwin Patel secured a $203,609 windfall, as per KTNV - a local Las Vegas TV station. The fortune emerged via a mega progressive jackpot. After engaging with the card game for approximately two hours, Patel accomplished a grand slam in hearts - a royal flush.
The victory took place at a poker table Patel has frequented for 15 years.
Patel remains confident that his streak of fortune will persist at Caesars Palace and intends to utilize his weekend earnings for future gaming sessions at the venue.
Patel journeyed to Las Vegas with his wife for the express purpose of securing a 2018 Rolls Royce Ghost.
Second $200K Windfall
Caesars Palace witnessed another gambler bag $200K at 11 p.m. on Friday; just an hour after Patel's reward.
This unnamed individual, also a Caesars Rewards member, indulged in video poker.
$138K Poker Win
An unidentified Ventura County man, accompanied by his spouse, hit $137,921 playing poker at California's Chumash Casino Resort last Wednesday.
The player, known as "Don W.," was dealt a four-card poker royal flush. He also indulged in a $1 side wager.
The die-hard player recounted the event to KSBY, a California TV station, saying, "I opened the hand and did a double-take, and then turned to my wife and said, 'Look what I've got!'”
"She asked me, 'What does it pay, $2,000?' I said, 'No, look up there - $137,000.' She about fell over."
The outcome emanated from a table game jackpot involving numerous progressives (multi-progressive). The jackpot accumulated after numerous players participated in $1 side wagers without a win.
Don intends to distribute the winnings to his seven grandkids and eight great-grandkids.
Simultaneously, Don's wife won $1K from a side wager.
Previously, Don and his wife clinched a jackpot of $35,000 at the Chumash Casino Resort approximately a decade ago.
"When my wife won a $35,000 jackpot 10 years ago, it was a total shock," Don shared in a casino statement. "We left right away and installed new windows on our house. And now this. Great entertainment for us."
Record $1.36M Payout
In June, a Ventura County player clinched a record $1.36M payout at the Chumash Casino.
This player had also scored a $556K victory in May at the same casino.
