Winner versus Elversberg in the match - Long: A grand farewell celebration!

During his final match for 1. FC Nürnberg, star striker Can Uzun (18) showcased an outstanding performance against Elversberg, resulting in a 3-0 victory. The gifted German-Turkish player brilliantly set up Felix Lohkemper (29) for the 1-0 goal (43) with a dazzling pass on the outside of the box. Uzun dazzled half of Elversberg's defense in the 64th minute, showcasing a solo run that culminated in a perfect finish for the 3-0 score.

Uzun's influence extended to almost every other dangerous offensive move for the team. His recent dip in form did not seem to matter as, when he scored, he pointed to his ear in the direction of his critics before placing his finger to his mouth in a confident celebratory gesture.

Upon the game's conclusion, Uzun officially confirmed on Sky what had already been known: "I'll be leaving the team. I'd like to thank the fans, coaches, my teammates, and the management. I'll be announcing where I'll be playing next season soon."

Owing to his fifth yellow card, Uzun will miss the season's last game against Hamburger SV. However, he can take some time off before preparing for the upcoming Euro 2022 in Turkey.

FCN will immensely miss Uzun's offensive capabilities in the future as he scored 16 goals during the season, potentially helping the team avoid relegation.
