An upcoming arrival - Lok Leipzig's player earns cup hero status.
Pasqual Verkamp (age 26) traded in Carl Zeiss Jena for Probstheida and penned a deal that runs until 2026.

Verkamp: "I'm stoked about joining this classic team for the new season. I've had a bit of time to get to know the club and its fans, and I can't wait to get to know 1. FC Lokomotive Leipzig even better. We're definitely going to work hard and perform well together with the new teammates and their supporters to achieve ultimate success!"
Sporting director Toni Wachsmuth: "It's fantastic that Pascal chose Lok. We're getting a highly adaptable offensive player who has demonstrated his goal-scoring prowess in multiple leagues in recent years."
Verkamp featured in 118 regional league matches for Viktoria Aschaffenburg (2018-2020) and FC Carl Zeiss Jena (2020-2024), tallying 31 goals. In the 2021/22 season, he made 13 appearances with Viktoria Berlin in the third league.
Born in Stuttgart, Verkamp began his career with FC Bayern Alzenau before making the move to SV Darmstadt 98's U19 squad. In 2016, he transitioned from the Darmstadt youth side to Rot-Weiß Darmstadt in the Hessenliga.
He won a total of five state cups with Viktoria Berlin and FC Carl Zeiss Jena. Just last weekend, he notched a goal for Jena during the Thuringia final.
