Philipp Plein speaks on the topic of patchwork. - Living with four kids and three mothers offers endless excitement
In recent days, articles have been published about Plein's personal life: he has split from his girlfriend Lucia (25)! Now, he's in a relationship with ex Andreea Sasu (34)! And she's expecting a child with Plein in July. There's also Fernanda Rigon (42), the mother of Plein's oldest son Romeo (10).
Is this guy's life an XXL patchwork family? How does it all work?
"Five years ago, I couldn't see my son," Plein shared. "I won't get that time back. But time heals many wounds." Fernanda and Romeo still reside in Brazil, but they maintain a close relationship.
Then, Plein fell in love with Andreea for the first time. They spent three years together, but eventually, their romance came to an end. Andreea explained, "It was my jealousy."
After Andreea, Lucia Bartoli appeared in Plein's life. They've been together for five years, had a son named Halo Ocean (2) in May 2022, and then welcomed another son, Rouge Sky Galaxy, in October 2023. However, during Lucia's second pregnancy, the couple had already decided to part ways, as Plein has shared recently. "There was no argument, but we simply became more like siblings."
Plein reunited with Andreea. "Lucia knew that, for both of us, we would eventually find new partners. It was no secret that Andreea is now pregnant, but we're extremely happy about it now."
So, how does it all work in everyday life? "Lucia lives just five minutes away from me, with the boys. I often spend the night at her place, sharing a bed with the boys." Plein has moved from his home in Lugano to an apartment close to Lucia and the children. The fashion designer is now planning a vacation with Lucia and the kids.
Is Lucia still jealous? "Not of the mothers of his children. For others, yes, but I have no reason for that. He had no time for a new woman because he works too much." She added with a smile, "And with all of us, he's got enough to do."
