On Sunday night, the website "footyheadlines" shared some pictures seemingly displaying a prospective away kit for Bayern Munich during the 2024/25 season. This website is popular for unveiling leaks about football kits.
The away kit of Bayern Munich for the 2024/25 season, compared to the previous season, is predominantly black. Yet, the inspiration source for this kit differs from its past counterparts. It's actually designed as an homage to the Bavaria statue in Munich.
This 18-meter-tall bronze sculpture, positioned at the outskirts of Theresienwiese, symbolizes Bavaria and holds a significant cultural value to the region. At night, this statue is well-lit and appears turquoise. This unique feature is replicated in the new away kit.
The customary emblems of the manufacturer Adidas and sponsor Telekom have a rustic look on this kit. Similarly, the Bayern Munich crest on the left side is also fashioned in a rusty style. However, there's a distinctive characteristic: The crest is fragmented by the turquoise design.
