Authorities have stumbled across numerous cannabis plants during investigations in the central region of Hesse. During an operation in the town of Ulrichstein (Vogelsberg district), law enforcement agents discovered numerous plants, approximately 9.5 kilograms of cannabis, and a substantial amount of cash within a vacant structure on April 20. Following this discovery, they conducted raids at two residences linked to suspects, where additional evidence of a different cannabis growing operation was found. In the village of Freienseen (district of Giessen), investigators came across yet another professional-grade plantation, with plants estimated to have generated more than eight kilograms of cannabis. The two men in custody, aged 35 and 38, are now being questioned about their involvement in illegal drug trafficking, among other charges.
