End of season for Lok Leipzig - Last Time Piplica Was Seen
Tomislav Piplica (55), who stepped up as interim manager after Almedin Civa's dismissal in 14 games (13 league and one cup), has scored an average of 1.46 points, a marked improvement compared to Civa's performance in the current season with 1.05 points.
Piplica said, "It's easier to work with a successful team. This year, we learned how challenging it is when you lose. It became obvious that building up one or two players is challenging. We managed to do that in some matches. However, we failed in the games against Chemie and the cup in Bischofswerda."
Sadly, these were the two most crucial games for the team at the end of the season.
Previous Occasion for Boss Piplica
Piplica will resume his role as a goalkeeping coach when Jochen Seitz takes charge. Although he had considered taking over the position for himself, he's content with the decision.
He hopes to see Lok Leipzig clinch their 11th victory of the season against Zwickau, thus ending the season on a high note. Ten players will be leaving the team, while Tobias Dombrowa's future remains undecided. Lok Leipzig wants to keep Dombrowa and use him as a right-back in the future. Dombrowa, initially brought in for the offense by Civa, remains uncertain about his future plans.
