Las Vegas adult dancer 'Hazel' allegedly stole Rolex watch

A lawsuit is pending against an exotic artist, accusing her of stealing two expensive watches from a man over the summer. She met him at the Spearmint Rhino Gentlemen's Club in Las Vegas.

Police say the dancer drove the unnamed man home on the night of Aug. 25, spent the night with him, then stole two Rolex watches before disappearing.

Jennifer Tapia Alvarado, a 24- or 25-year-old dancer who recently lived in Phoenix, Arizona, was arrested after the man appeared to be too drunk to drive home on his own. Pick up and drop off service provided.

He had known Tapia Alvarado before and called her "Hazel."

The two agreed via text message to meet at the strip club's valet around 4:15 a.m.

At 5 a.m., the two arrived at the man's apartment. They had a few drinks and she agreed to spend the night.

The two shared a bedroom, but the man claimed he did not pay her for sex. He fell asleep. Later that day, he woke up to find the woman missing.

Worried, he looked in the closet. He examined a box containing a beautiful watch.

WATCH WORTH $40,000

Two Rolex watches were missing. One of them is the two-tone "Bluesy" model made of gold and silver. The other is a Submariner "Starbucks" model, the Las Vegas Review-Journal reported. LVMPD officials revealed that the combined value of the two watches is approximately $40,000.

Although the man took off another Rolex watch and placed it on the bedside table when he saw the woman, it was untouched when he woke up. Also on the table was about $800 in cash, which he had placed next to the clock, untouched.

The man attempted to send a text message to Tapia Alvarado. He wants his watch back. He sent her many messages.

But she blocked his phone number and didn't answer the call.

The man then contacted the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department (LVMPD).

Las Vegas TV station KLAS reported that police were trying to contact Tapia Alvarado, who worked as an exotic dancer at the strip club.

By tracking her cellphone usage, LVMPD officers were able to build a case and provide enough information to the Clark County District Attorney's Office for prosecutors to seek a warrant.
