Abnormally large amount - Lacking Stars for Nagelsmann's Initial Period
Today, it's time for the national players to assemble - albeit with only half the team initially.
This Sunday, prominent figures gather in Blankenhain, Thuringia, preparing for the domestic European Championship.
Bonus winners from Leverkusen, Florian Wirtz (21), Jonathan Tah (28), and Robert Andrich (29), are celebrating their victories, but will join the group later.
Similarly, Ilkay Gündogan (33) and Marc-Andre Ter Stegen (32), will be playing their final LaLiga game for Barcelona against Sevilla on Sunday evening before heading to Blankenhain.
Moreover, our Champions League finalists such as Toni Kroos (34), Toni Rüdiger (31), Niclas Füllkrug (31), and Nico Schlotterbeck (24) will be missing the Thuringia training camp as they participate in different matches worldwide.
Luckily, the entire Bayern squad has made their appearances this time, including Manuel Neuer (38), Joshua Kimmich (29), Thomas Müller (34), Jamal Musiala (21), Leroy Sané (28), and Aleksandar Pavlovic (20). Though the crew narrowly missed the final, they can now focus on the EM after a trophyless season.
To ensure Julian Nagelsmann (36) has enough players to practice with two separate teams, the first few days will be centered on fostering a bond within the team. Families will be present at the beginning, and a cohesive evening event with players, families, and staff will foster unity and we hope for an enchanting summer.
