Labor organizations - Labor Day protests and gatherings held in Thuringia.
On May Day, various cities in Thuringia will witness demonstrations, rallies, and family celebrations. In Erfurt, the German Trade Union Confederation (DGB) has organized a massive gathering with the theme "Higher pay, more vacation time, and better security." The police anticipate around 2000 attendees to join the event. Thuringia's minister president, Bodo Ramelow, who's a member of the Left Party, is scheduled to participate in a panel discussion there. Before the discussion, Ramelow is slated to address the DGB at an event in Eisenach.
Across the state, approximately 40 events have been recorded, including one in Gera with around 400 participants from the left-wing community. A demonstration is also planned in Sonneberg and Sondershausen, per the police, with participants coming from the far-right camp.
