Following Opdenhövel's HSV joke, - Kuntz exclaims, "No one finds it funny!"
The statement wasn't well accepted...
Opdenhövel greets him: "That's impossible. HSV is in the relegation zone now."
Kuntz remains expressionless, contemplates briefly then says: "No one in Hamburg is finding it humorous."
After missing out on promotion for the sixth consecutive time, Hamburg can no longer joke about it.
Opdenhövel goes on: "It's no laughing matter, it's just a fact. Congratulations on your new role. Are you aware of the effect it will have on you?"
Kuntz: "I appreciate it. I could join one of the largest traditional teams, where there's been considerable serenity recently. Now I aim to assist in accomplishing a major objective."
The recently appointed HSV boss was formally presented in Hamburg at midday, and then he traveled to Bochum. He desires to advance into the Bundesliga this upcoming season.
