"Police Call 110" in Halle - Koitzsch and Lehmann comprise the investigative duo.

The police team of Koitzsch and Lehmann are currently investigating in Halle, which is one of the main cities in Saxony-Anhalt along with Leipzig. After they debuted in a crime drama in 2021, it took three years for them to start working together again.

The Location: Halle

The duo "Police Call 110" Koitzsch and Lehmann is now working in Halle, making it the third major center in Saxony-Anhalt. In addition to Halle and the neighboring metropolis of Leipzig, they form the Leipzig-Halle metropolitan area.

Their initial case, "On the Bright Shore of the Saale", was initially designed as a jubilee episode for 50 years of "Police Call 110". But before the episode was broadcast, the MDR announced that this duo would return in the future.

And fans were excited: In "The Fat Loves" in April 2024, Koitzsch and Lehmann were finally back on the First.

Criminal Chief Inspector Henry Koitzsch

► The Character: Henry Koitzsch has dedicated 30 years to the force and has seen just about everything. He's more of a loner and it's difficult for those around him to connect with his rough demeanor. In his down time, he likes to hang out at his regular pub, "Zum Heidekrug", in Halle.

► The Actor: Peter Kurth is known for being a hard shell with a soft core. In his acting roles, he usually seems much stricter than he truly is. He grew up in Güstrow, in the former East Germany, and decided to study acting in Rostock after serving in the military in 1978. Then his journey to become an actor began.

At first, he spent a lot of time on the stage, and then he was finally seen on television in 2000. There he appeared in several crime series, before being assigned as a Frankfurt detective Seidel in 2011 on "Tatort".

Criminal Inspector Michael Lehmann

► The Character: Michael Lehmann is a true family man. He finds solace with his wife and children when things get tough at work. Since he lives in Leipzig, he always has to commute for work to Halle.

Trained as a nurse, he joined the police force as a cross-sector recruit and tries to follow the rules as closely as possible. Despite his impatience and logic, which are the complete opposite of Koitzsch's investigative methods, the two make an effective team.

► The Actor: Peter Schneider studied music at the University of Music and Theater in Leipzig from 1995 to 1998. Then in 1998, he switched to acting at the same university.

Ever since then, he has been active in theaters and even made his film debut in "Heimat 3 - Chronicle of a Time Turning Point". Since then, he has been working as an actor, but also as a musician and composer.
