Klaus has made his return to training, even embarking on the entire session on Thursday. Thioune elaborates, "He's doing quite well again following the collision - he can handle anything. However, I'll need to check if I can send him out on the field on Sunday. He had no power left in his legs in Kiel, he was rather weak. But it wasn't really a concussion."
There's a chance Thioune may give Klaus another break this weekend, considering the stakes are as high as they come! Although the coach still has big plans for Magdeburg after 13 unbeaten league games...
Thioune: "We can finish the 2nd division without a blemish for the 14th time and win the title in the second half of the season - possess the best offensive and defensive records in the league. It's fantastic that the roster woes surrounding Düsseldorf's season ending game in the 2nd division have almost vanished: The only missing piece is Jamil Siebert (22/operation as a result of a torn tendon in his right thigh). The decision on promotion can be made.
