Whispers Circulate between Real Madrid and FC Barcelona - Kimmich undecided about Bayern's future.

Will Kimmich Remain in Bavaria or Try Out Spain?

The fate of Germany's DFB standout, Joshua Kimmich (29), is unknown. His contract with Munich expires in 2025, and the team hopes to sort out his future this summer.

Buzz is circulating: Kimmich doesn't seem to be in a rush, citing his contract until 2025. However, Bayern wants to ascertain whether or not Kimmich can envision staying beyond 2025, or they might sell him now.

Recently, Spanish speculation arose: Ex-Bayern coach Hansi Flick (59) is now in charge at FC Barcelona, and Kimmich has been linked with a spot at Real Madrid as a potential replacement for Toni Kroos (34), who is expected to retire after the European Championship. Kimmich has refrained from commenting on the chatter: "After the European Championship, there will undoubtedly be a conversation, as I've said previously. Bayern is my first priority."

Currently, Kimmich is focused on the German national team, describing their mindset: "We're striving to establish our game pattern on the pitch. It's been fantastic that players from Leverkusen and Barcelona have joined us. Victories contribute to that. Our wins against France and Holland have shifted the atmosphere. The guys from Leverkusen and Barcelona have done an excellent job, and that's why we want to win our initial test game against Ukraine to maintain this positive mood."
